Max Fang, Chairman and CEO, personally has been very involved and has played a
significant role in the growth of the Taiwan IT industry during the 90s. His vision,
professionalism, and business acumen induced the world’s number one PC seller, Dell
Computer, to “deeply cultivate Taiwan” and this action ultimately took the island’s
businesses to the international stage. The amount of media coverage on his experience
and vision as well as the industry watch on his movement made him one of the most
influential and widely quoted leaders in the IT industry. Mr. Fang’s social image, potency,
industry connections, and networking relationships are arguably the most valuable
intangible assets for Maxima when managing investment activities.
